Must children keep on falling asleep scared, on thirst for a pillow and tightly wrapped in their bright white shroud?
Must parents keep on planting the seeds by the dozen, inside their children’s blue jean’s pockets?
Must widows and widowers become orphans too, bleeding their motherland ear to toe and torn apart?
Mustn’t we now recognize the fallacy behind all of this…
That is one’s supremacy over millions of lives?
Mustn’t we see all of this? Mustn’t we come down to reality?
If martyrdom started in the land of all beginnings and all endings, can it not end there too? From Moses to Muhammad through Jesus, in blood on linen, can’t the hand of Justice right a wrong once and for all?
Can’t the olive tree speak up and heed its call to the broken stones …
« Mercy, oh mercy please Light upon Light have mercy. Bring the holy sound of the trumpet if you please. But please have mercy on the innocent torn thread of my land »
